Rancho Capistrano's Sanctuary offers an indoor church setting for your wedding ceremony. A cascading waterfall, visible from inside the church, flows through the garden outside, and the church's stained glass windows serve as a backdrop for your ceremony photographs.
At Rancho Capistrano, we can accommodate receptions of any size. Our award-winning chef and his staff will provide top-quality service for you and your guests. Our catering service features a full range of menus for you to choose from. The Spanish patio and courtyard lawn of the Hacienda are perfect areas for receptions. The old California feeling of the Hacienda is accentuated by its terra-cotta tiled terrace and mission-style fountains. Inside, the former private residence is decorated with vibrant stenciling, Spanish-tiled fireplaces, arched windows and doorways. Glass greenhouse doors open onto the patio. The living and dining rooms of the Hacienda can be used for a social hour, displaying a wedding cake or a small, intimate reception. Our picturesque Lakeside facility offers a spacious library and dining room for your wedding reception. Large sliding-glass door walls open up to a beautiful view of our serene lakeside gardens and Spanish gazebo.
Eliminate the concern of finding a restaurant nearby and arranging transportation
from the church or garden. As you conclude the wedding rehearsal, your
dinner celebration can be waiting for you in the Hacienda or Lakeside

In
front of the Hacienda, a historic adobe ranch house built in the 1800's,
your wedding ceremony can be set up in the Spanish courtyard or on the
grassy hillside overlooking the lake. On the Casitas patio, your guests
will enjoy a view of the lake from a quiet, shady environment of intricate
brickwork and an abundance of greenery. On the poolside patio, rows of
white chairs and a decorative archway can be arranged alongside the fragrant
rose garden.
For
more private weddings, the Lakeside chapel or gazebo might be preferred.
In the chapel, a wall of glass windows allow guests to enjoy the view
of our peaceful lake and its natural surroundings. In the center of the
lake, a small island of wildflowers encircle the wooden gazebo that can
accommodate your private wedding party. Visualize a string quartet in
the lakeside gardens or maybe Mariachi players in the Hacienda courtyard.
Our spacious facilities provide ideal locations for your festive dance
floor and reception activities.
