Rancho Capistrano Summer Camps Programs Where campers discover the wonders of Rancho Capistrano's beautiful property, make new friends, and have fun all summer long! Since 1995, Rancho Capistrano’s Popular Summer Camps offer well-rounded day camp programs filled with enriching activities in a fun and safe environment, led by a caring staff of trained and dedicated counselors. We offer a variety of options for your camper including: Discovery, Academic, and a year-round A.C.S.I. Accredited Preschool for children under age 5. Extended before and after daycare is also available.
Wondering what to do with the young ones this summer? Our ACSI Accredited Year-round Preschool has an excellent monthly Summer Program. In addition to our excellent biblically-based ABEKA curriculum, we offer developmentally based activities to help preschoolers grow while they enjoy summer fun. Activities include water play, art, creative movement, and themed activities echoing Discovery Camp.
All camps are held on our beautiful, gated property with a sparkling lake, outdoor pool, championship sized athletic fields, basketball courts, hiking trails, auditorium with staging and sound system, colorful and inspiring classrooms and more. Campers will discover their innate talents, improve personal skills, nurture new friendships, and develop an appreciation for their natural environment, surrounded and inspired by the Creator’s work.
All Counselors are CPR, first aid and water-safety trained. All are overseen by a Camp Director and Assistant Director. A certified Lifeguard and counselors are at the pool at all times.
For over a decade, Discovery Camps offer well-rounded day camp programs filled with enriching activities in a fun-filled Christian environment. Led by a caring staff of trained, dedicated counselors, our day camp provides campers with a safe and fun environment as they discover their God-given talents, improve personal skills, nurture new friendships, and develop an appreciation for their natural environment.
This Year, your new Camp Director and Assistant Camp Directors are: Ms. Hubert and Mrs. Girdley, who are both Rancho Capistrano teachers. They are fully credentialed, have 15 years combined experience in running day camps and retreats, and are energized and eager to create lasting memories with your child! This year will feature NEW activities, new games and new excitement!
For the younger child, Rancho Capistrano's year-round developmental Preschool and Junior Kindergarten is filling up fast for a Summer filled with "splash days", indoor and outdoor fun, special guests and age-appropriate learning activities. Academic Camps (two 3-week sessions) focus on improving reading, language, math and study skills for either accelerated or remedial students. Learning will be hands-on, with camp activities as well as academic activities. Optional Discovery Camp is available in the afternoons. For all camp options, extended Daycare care is available from 7-9am and 4- 6pm daily for a fee of only $6.00 per session.
Daily devotionals will be offered during the lunch break from noon-1pm, where all campers will have the opportunity to participate if they wish. Rancho Capistrano Summer Camps Programs, Schools, and Conference/Retreat Center are open to all denominations.
